Good stuff out there. After a few years off, I'm hoping to do the King's Tour of the Quabbin again this year; there are metric century and full century options, and each one goes into the (on road) portions of the Quabbin. It starts and ends in Rutland, and it's organized by the Seven Hills Wheelmen.
I did some exploring in some of the places you've been a while back; it was during a particularly buggy time of year, though, so it was a little hairy.
