For the record, it seems that [MENTION=469351]bark_eater[/MENTION] and I were both bidding on that seat post - or rather he was going for the whole pile and I just wanted that seat post.

After looking again at the photos he provided, I guess my idea that you could hang a seat bag off of the post is a non-starter as I'd assume the the seat post ears when mounted to a saddle would cover those holes....
