i did not get a suspension corrected fork - i suffer from a sever case of "I was able to ride it down the driveway, and got through the first busy intersection alive, so it must be good enough"
...that being said, there was a coaster brake bike I put together and the chain fell off when the light turned green(for me) at The Busy Intersection. If I had lost the chain with a red light..... It would not have been good enough! ha!

ps: Also the head tube spacers used for the smaller steerer tube fork eat up even more of the steerer tube length. It's a bodge, almost a complete bodge.
