Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

No problem with gluing an improvised bridge to the chainstays so you can mount a fender. Or you might make a sandwich with 2 wedges with a bolt through the center. The strength requirements for a fender are low, so there's plenty of forgiveness.

However, glue is absolutely not enough for a kickstand. Not only is there the stress of the weight on the bike when the stand is in use, but the stresses of supporting a kickstand during the normal vibration and shock loads of real world bike riding will guaranty failure within a very short time.

So, make a decision whether to live without the kickstand or use a clamp on type. Note that it's easy to make and fit a L-bracket under the KS bolt to attach the fender.
