The point of a 7 is not that it's classic. It's that it's light, handles really well, and is fun. It's got the least amount of extraneous stuff beyond that. It would absolutely suck as a daily driver literally anywhere. And at the low end of the Caterham range, it's not even remotely fast. OTOH, where can you drive a C8 Corvette Z06 at more than maybe 50% or less of its capability?
It's much more fun going fast in a slow car than slow in a fast car.
Caterhams and Atoms are purely weekend tows that are a blast at the track or on the Tail of the Dragon.
