You might try a flush, re-oil, and bleed of the system... How old is the bike and brakes? Estimated Miles of use since the last oil change? Are the pads worn badly? Maybe a new brake system is a good idea... Price the pads, oil, and bleed, then check on a new system.
no the system has maybe 4000 miles on it we crashed and it was all replaced. pads are good I think I will check but they are not making a sound yet and the feel is still fine and the lever feels solid.. I just bled them maybe 1000 or so miles ago. this I on our tandem not that it matters. bot other then the noise and feel it works perfectly.
