There's a chance (albeit slim) that there's gold in that old Judy. There's a recall on a series of Judy TTs made in late 2000 for several model year 2001 bikes. As a safety recall, it's still in effect: https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2001/CP...-Bicycle-Forks . I had one replaced with a very nice upgrade (I forget what, exactly; I sold that bike) about four years ago, cost me zero, even shipping both ways.
