The one that got postponed (end of Dec.) was a different route, but started and finished at the same place. This was my first time riding with the Gravel Bike California group. I would be happy to ride with them again. Lots of good folks.
That looks like Will Z. I've known him for a few years. Nice guy.
He's a great guy and I think he was born on a bike. I saw him win a race with 100 riders in the field at the Barry Wolf Grand Prix when there was a huge pile up in the last turn.
He used to ride with our club and sometimes his wife would come and they would ride their tandem. He got sick of some of the antics in the club and left us. I saw him on the road a few months ago and he said he had heart issues but he looked good.
I've done mtb rides where he does a trackstand on a boulder.
Here, he is doing a no-handed trackstand.
