The Serial Number is actually Y1G2027 .... the Y and the 1 were very very lightly embedded.

T-Mar 's OP at the beginning of this thread that serial number is indeed consistent with a Yamaguchi-manufactured frame as the sticker you found indicates. Unfortunately, Yamaguchi appears to have made frames for a fair number of bicycle companies - including Eddie Bauer, Sekine, Lotus, and Shogun (plus others).
