You'd think they'd put it in the instructions: "The purpose of the second Allen wrench is to twist your knickers really tight--do not overtighten."
Actually, if you read my OP and post 17 you'll see that I've been buying this mirror for years with only one size allen wrench with absolutely no problems. And on post 17 you'll notice that the 0.5-mm
larger allen that was added is for the screws that are primarily used for adjustment. The primary mounting screw is the smaller of all the screws.
Like I said in my OP, this is just a rant, I know there are far more pressing issues in the world, so it's not like I'm losing any sleep over this; however, I was really curious if anyone else noticed this. And of course there's the curiosity part of me that is always ask Why, why, why....and just wanted others perspective, but instead I got sh*tted on by many.
I would tell people to chill out and go ride a bike, but this is a site for cycling enthusiasts...right
