If it were me, I'd go for a vintage Shimano 600 or DA UG 6-speed or a Sachs Aris 6-speed. With that said, since the spacing is 126mm, a 7-speed might fit (sometimes they do on vintage hubs and other times they don't until you respace and re-dish the hub).

Yea, I kinda wanna go for the HG versions, if possible. I do agree, the vintage ones seem more period correct, but shifting seems more fiddly than what i am used to, and i blame the freewheel sprocets, since my other bikes which i friction shift (10sp cassettes) dont have any of these issues.
Not gonna redish/respace the hub, because before i go and do such things i'd rather find me an old 7sp 126 mm hub and build a wheel or (and that might hurt me) go the 130mm route and open up even more possibilties.
Additionally, thanks for the offer, but seeing as i am in the EU, that might not be financially viable atm
