Rode it for the first time today. Agree that it's impressive, especially those switchbacks on the Jersey side! I was left feeling a little conflicted though. On the one hand, yes it's a much nicer, easier ride to cross the bridge now. OTOH, this renovation must have cost a fortune, and for what, really? You could already ride across the GW and it wasn't a horrible experience at all. Think of all the other projects they could have done with that money which would have helped riders more--actually breaking new ground for bicycle infrastructure, connecting paths that desperately need to be connected, putting bike paths on bridges and roads that don't currently have any at all, etc.

My humble opinion.
