Nice looking bike. But unfortunately, the seller have not told you the truth. As far as I can find out from google, Potenza 11 was introduced in 2016, so clearly NOT original to the bike (In 1988 8 speed groups was top of the line stuff). I would like to see some pictures where the front derailleur is set to go as far in as it is possible. The pictures should be taken front to back, or back to front (It dosenīt matter which you choose), instead of taken from the side. I suspect that the bottom bracket is too narrow (Bottom bracket axle too short).
