i think that is what it is called.
first off, let me warn you and apologize- i know nottthhhing about roadbikes, given i've never owned one until today. it rode just fine and dandy for like 5 minutes, then the pedal got stuck. i am a complete oblivious fool regarding bikes, so i apologize if this is a dumb question, but if you have the wisdom i lack and you are bored, the help would be greeaaatly appreciated!
so i added an arrow to show what is making the chain stuck. i am hoping it is something really simple i am overlooking, but i thought i'd ask around before i do something wrong.
these two levers have two cables, one of which is attached to that piece that is in the way of the chain. i assume those two levers have something to do with changing gears?
