Donnay and Eddy Merckx Cycles are two different companies. Donnay rebranded the Alan frames, EMC did not. What appeared as the Peugeot 1000 was a Donnay order 'taken over' by Peugeot after the Donnay bankruptcy - a one-off operation.
Interesting fact: Alan produced alu forks for EMC for alu early models - Alu, Mega, Alu Team.
And the brand Donnay was, far as I know, with a lot of money from 'Europe' taken over by the guys from Carbon Valley. who already made carbon Alans in concession.
