Today I received my 42cm (650c) Wabi Classic and got a chance to take it for a 10 mile ride. As expected it has that smooth steel ride and handles well. It's stock except for upgraded Panaracer Pasela Protite 650x28c tires (+$55). The pedals are Velo Orange Grand Cru Sabot ($84) and the bottle cage is Wabi from my parts bin. Total cost including shipping was $1104 and the weight as pictured minus the water bottle is 18.2 lbs. Although it does include a fixed cog on the flip side of the rear wheel, I intend to ride it strictly as a single speed, and hence the inclusion of a rear brake and no foot retention.
