For me, I had no inkling that Sue shared her name with a place in Italy. To the best of my knowledge there is no famous Sheila Novara in cycling. There is a Sheila Young (now Sheila Young-Ochowicz).
As far as Italian giving class, I once asked a local cat II why he wasn't riding his (major Italian maker's name withheld), and he replied "I broke that Italian piece of s***."
