I understand why you might scratch your head thinking why I was asking something that seemed to have an obvious answer, but really I was wondering what the guy meant. I mean, we're probably all riding older frames, and I don't want mine to break.
There was also this in the Riv Reader #8
"Bad day. we had a frame break, an A/R. It broke at the rhainstay. Larry S. the owner, says he breaks a lot of frames, hut I am really bummed about this. He's had it a year or so and rides it a lot, but still. He's cool about it, I am not."
I don't know if the video was talking specifically about the all rounder and it's thinner left stay or just in general. If the thinner left chainstay was the problem, then wouldn't that also hold for those frames with thinner chainstays even if the right one were the same thickness?
Anyway, thanks for all your insights and comments. Seems the consensus is don't worry about it, so I won't.
