Yes the Concord with no E is a Japanese bike and if you look at the headset where the handle bars go into the tube the ring is stamped Kuwahara cycle company. I wish I could find another one with a 25 inch frame but they never seem to come up on CL in any size. I did purchase a pretty nice looking Concord Selecta Twelve earlier this summer but have not got it road worthy yet. The Thing is that the Selecta is obviously a lower tiered bicycle than the Freedom Deluxe. Lower end components but the frames look identical. There is a Made in Japan sticker on it but the headset does not have Kuwahara stamped on the part.

My search for another Freedom Deluxe continues.....
