To determine which is the high limit screw, shift into the low ring so the shifters are all the way down. The cable should be somewhat slack. Next, while watching the cage VERY CLOSELY, tighten one of the screws. Whichever one causes the cage to move outward is the LOW limit screw. The other one is the HIGH limit screw. Remember to return the Low limit screw to the original adjustment (assuming it was adjusted properly and you never drop your chain onto the BB).
