Two decades ago I used to ride with a local club. There's nothing quite like being part of a large, fast moving peloton! It was a very well-behaved club, lots of experienced riders. But one day, someone who wasn't part of the ride decided to cut into the line and took down one of our riders, and the rest of us barely managed not to end up in a pile. You can trust your skills, you can trust your group, but you can't stop some clown from screwing it up.
