Bikes: 1946 Holdsworth Cyclone, 1969 Cinelli SC, 1972 Raleigh Pro, 1973 Merz road bike, 1974 Alex Singer Sportif, 1974 Merz track bike, 1975 Teledyne Titan, 1976 Ritchey road bike, 1977 DiNucci built Merz track bike, 1977 (?) Exxon Graftek, many more!

I took these photos with my Topcon Super D with 35mm, 58mm, and 135mm lenses. Kodachrome slide film. Both of us were strong riders, ah, to be young!

I see from the photos that both bikes have Campagnolo triple cranks with 36 tooth inner ring, I assume the other 2 were 52t. and 42t. I don't think we used anything lower than a 25t freewheel. Gran Turismo rear derailleurs! The bike Virginia is riding was Merz # 2 I think. That down tube decal was only used a few times. The color of her frame inspired the Specialized Bicycle "Merz" Sequoia tribute limited edition bike, designed by the very talented Erik Nohlin. Story here:
