hopefully someone with more Specialized bike knowledge will weigh in

I believe the steel Rockhopper frames from that era were full chromoly - so although it might not be considered a heavy steel frame it would not be considered a light steel frame

I believe the steel Stumpjumper frames from that era were made of Prestige (Tange Prestige ?) - so they would weigh less

fork appears to be a Trek suspension fork - does it still work ? that fork will add some weight to the bike
