Just for fun, I punched some numbers into the calcu-ma-lator.

I got about 5,000 pound imposed on the rim by the air pressure. There's probably more if you look laterally but I was thinking about the radial direction.

Individual spoke nipples see about 1 pound from the air pressure, relieving some of the tension (-350 psi) you carefully applied.

The thing is, it would do all that very uniformly.
