This pink AX bike wasn't the one I made for Shimano. It was for Kim Bushong, a Triathlete who got 11th place in the 1981 Ironman. This bike was for the 1982 race, where he only got 22rd. I gave him the bike, he never even said thanks. Many years later he tried to sell it back to me! What a jerk. How did this bike end up back in Portland? I found the build sheet for the bike.
