Saying that those helmet vents are designed for eyewear is like saying that a shirt with buttons is designed to hold eyeglasses because you can fold your glasses and stick one of the earpieces down the vee above the last button to hold your glasses.
I wasn't aware that the vents of the particular helmet in the picture were general-purpose ones rather than specifically to hold eyewear. Thanks for the information.

That said, I am looking for a helmet with vents that are designed to hold eyewear. (Those helmets do exist.) My current one, the Specizlied Propero3, doesn't hold my sunglasses. I tried to stick them into the vents, but it just resulted in the arms hitting my head.
