I definitely agree. I have the new Ultegra on another bike and the Shimano shifting is just smoother, faster, and quieter. SRAM is definitely pretty close (and I enjoy the shifting set-up), but Shimano is one step above. Plus, the Shimano battery lasts longer too... If you haven't already, I'd recommend getting an extra set of SRAM batteries so that you're always ready to swap and go. Enjoy the ride!
