You wanna borrow my drill bits. I have a series used to step drill the old post out. They start at about 7/8" and go upward. They weren't cheap about thirty each but they do the job correctly.

I used these in a Terry frame that had a very seized seat post. The sodium hydroxide process took nearly two weeks and then these were deployed. They worked better than the sodium process.
