since axle locknuts of rear individual not matching at least one be a replacement

may have been contract produced by someone such a Maurice Maillard for Andre Bertin, for example

ex-works could have come with labels which have weathered away

date appears early 1960's

NERVEX quick release skewers are quite rare in my experience

have seen nominal MILREMO hubs shown in Ron Kitching Everything Cycling catalogue of 1960 which have never seen in person

would expect cones to exhibit a black oxide finish and not to have been rectified following applicaton of finish

is there a groove in evidence in the flat area between the gear block threads on the drive side of the rear hub and the flange

if present it would suggest a Maillard origin for the product

check OLD of FRONT hub; if ninety-six or ninety-eight this would be confirmatory of a frankish origin
