They are good frames and last and lifetime, I would however treat the bottom bracket seat tube and head tube with rustol as a preventive maintenance. On my 1998 Jamis Dragon MTB frame made of this material rust started to develop at the bottom bracket, I treated it with rustol, also treated the seat tube and head tube with Rustol.
