The other day, I passed a lab mix in a well fenced( chain link) front yard. He immediately started barking and chased me about 25 yards. I turned around and he chased me the other direction. I then turned around again and again and again and the chase game was on. We probably did 15 laps back and forth until he laid down exhausted wagging his tail. Good fun.
Will go back and give him another fun workout and maybe a dog biscuit.
A tired dog is a happy dog.
I exercise our dogs by letting them pull me on the bike.
The lab does OK.
When she isn’t having paw issues, the Doberman runs like a champ. She’ll be cruising at a good clip and if you didn’t know you’d think you were going fast.
Then she sees a cat/rabbit/squirrel up the road and goes to ludicrous speed.
After a run she seems really content.
