Since yours has a letter near the front of the S/N, I suspect early 1980s, as well.
Here are the serial of the frame and original broken “death” stem. Since the stem was stamped in December 1980 and the frame has a B0 starting the serial number, along with the color scheme and components, I’m dating my bike to 1981 or possibly early 1982.
