I won't disagree with being bike magnetic. This stuff has always had a way of finding me.
Just about everything on Raleighs are pinned; Carltons too. Based on the sloppy shorelines (or non-existent ones), I wouldn't be surprised if the forks (and most of the frames) were pinned, fluxed, and jigged with a ring of brass shoved up the blade in advance that would flow into the joint. I have my doubts whether anyone really fed brass through the gap on the Raleigh assembly line, like a normal framebuilder would.
I'm nearly certain the Huffy - which I
think is a Mainliner, but I'm not sure - has been repainted, but surprisingly well. Compare it with this picture. It's a bit later based on the fork crown:

If I can find correct Superbe fenders,
