Wish me luck (with setting up road hydraulic disc build)

I purchased Ultegra 8020 integrated shifters from eBay and plan to run Jagwire hydraulic brake hose to them and then i have Hope RX4+ brake calipers that I plan to use. Hopefully the Shimano 8020's will be compatible with the Hope calipers that the braking will be good. I don't have a tool to cut the hoses yet. I thought of purchasing the Park Tools one. I am a total rookie with mechanic work on hydraulic (mineral oil) brakes. By looking at some You Tube videos on how to get air bubbles out of Hope brakes, I can only hope to get it right enough on the first go around to get me safely out on the road.

Has anyone heard of running both Shimano shifters along with Hope calipers? I bought the mineral oil version of the RX4+ calipers for 160mm front and I purchased 2 for the rear (one for a 140 rotor and one that is "+20" for the rear giving me the option of running the 160 rear if I chose to go that route).

thanks for any suggestions on effective affordable tools that might help me to a quality job. and if there are any great internet resources to help a newb do an acceptable job setting everything up.
