I don't understand the use of carbon fiber in a compressive devise, it just sounds counter intuitive. it's the glue providing all the strength, the carbon isn't really stressed correctly (if I understand what I'm reading carbon fiber correctly that is)
Mounting ***** to the hull doesn't sound really brill.
