Thanks for the article by Harlan Meyer! I've owned a couple of his products over the years, and had good results. Harlan was not afraid of cutting his designs close to the limits though! I'm still using his "regular" front hub with the unique one-sided wingnut and skewer. I've also got the track version of the skewer...



The one-sided wingnut doesn't permit a lot of torque when tightening it, but it's good enough for the front hub (imho, etc). The rear skewer was the same, so not well suited for the horizontal dropouts of the day.
