I think my next "grail" build is going to have XT M732 wide profile cantis in the front and XTR M900 low profile cantis in the back.
Bumping my own old thread- when I was looking for another thread on my bike.
It's interesting reading this- When I finally got around to re-re-rebuilding my 1985 Trek 620- this was exactly what I had planned- but the XTR brakes didn't have *quite* enough adjustment. Which shocked me. I probably could have filed them down and gotten just a touch more out of them, but dude... filing XTR stuff???
