I've seen this bike posted in other places and probably here too. Curious about it. I guess this is market value. Hard to say these days. No shipping and a possibly cracked crank. Worth watching.

1972 Cinelli SC from Spence Wolf $2200

1972 Cinelli Special Corsa, with frame built in Milan by Cino Cinelli, dean of Italian frame building (built prior to Columbus acquisition).
Seat tube: 61cm center-center (63cm center-top); top tube: 58cm
This bike was built for Tim Wilson by Spence Wolf, dean of NorCal custom builds. Spence also built the wheels.
All parts are original aside from freewheel and rubber and bar tape.

Comes with second set of wheels built by Tony Tom of Bicycle Odyssey: vintage 1990s Phil Wood hubs (one-piece aluminum barrels/flanges), Mavic clincher rims, DT butted SS spokes.

Comes with documentation including invoices and build spec from Spence Wolf and Tony Tom.

The frame/forkparts have rusty places. Some parts show excessive wear: saddle-top leather (cracks), left crank (crack). Wheels are relatively true. Bearings seem fine.

$2200 IS THE PRICE and we must add sales tax to any tangible purchases like bikes.
We will not be able to use this here at the Marin Museum of Bicycling, so we are offering it for sale, and the proceeds will help the doors open here at the museum. Yes, we are a 100% volunteer run non-profit.
