I've thought about that. One of the major's top 5 or 10 freight routes comes within half a mile of my house; mostly hauling Wyoming coal to South Carolina. Especially when they're slowing the trains to rebuild a grade crossing, it's tempting to hop on, climb to the top of a car, and see the scenery where the rails take me.

Of course with my luck, I'd get busted in the first 30 miles.
