This seems to be a very not-so-humble brag thread.

For my part, the only time I get to 20 mph (or 19 mph) is going down hill.

My rides are almost never 25 miles long.

Even if I deliberately pushed the envelope of physical exertion, there are too many cars, pedestrians, STOP signs and traffic lights to ever get close to an average of 20 mph. Around here, automobiles cannot average 20 mph.

Furthermore, my bike is old and dirty and distinctly NOT in concours/museum condition.

Does this mean I cannot play the game?

P.S. - A lot of those bikes look distinctly non-C&V.
