This is just what some posters are talking about when it came to the over protective parents and forbidden friuit. I'm 53 just to give some time reference. My sister at 15 knew she could ask and knew that the decision would depend on which friend, which of course had a lot to do with supervision and the character of the other kids who would be there.

Guess what. At 15 a kid does not need a sleep over to fool around. And one who has been raised well can spend far longer than one night in the company of the opposite sex without temptation even really coming up.

Saddly things seem to have changed, there is a huge gap these days. It seems more and more there are only the over protective and the hands off parents. The odds of the right kind of co-ed sleepover seem much more remote than they were 30 years ago.
