Newbie: I know what you mean. For me it is a tail wind in the morning and then a headwind in the evening. You should give aero bars a try, as they give me a 2mph increase into a headwind. Last evening, I had a 20+ mph head wind for my 20 miles. Usually my evening commute into a strong head wind can take me up to 1.5 hours. Last evening with aero bars, my commute lasted 1.25 hours. Note these times include stopping for red lights and street crossings.
