Maybe a 3.8 when I get a new bike. But after a few months, I slide back to a 3.6.

You could get pretty accurate mathmatically with this. For example you could "amortize" based on the age of your ride, say .05/yr. You could discount .1 for "The First Scratch", or value add for say a TI brake pad nut. You could adjust for other "Lifestyle" considerations, eg Family, disposable income. I like it, Cool.
