So, as far as chain checkers go that measure pitch, whether from rollers or pins, nothing changes.
I've read some articles about the SRAM AXS chain rollers being a different size. Most only talk about the width being different. This one talks about the roller diameter being different....

If the roller size is as different as shown, then I'd think the common chain checkers that measure to different sides of the roller wouldn't be accurate.
