Hi everyone, I was on vacation last week and the bikes in the beach house shed weren't exactly up to the task of running around town. My car got hit in a parking lot the very first day of the trip with the bumper torn almost completely off. 🙃
Rental car is a fancy SUV and I'm paranoid about it getting hit so it's giving me more reason to ride my bike. Speaking of which, the shifting was still not right after being serviced recently by a big bike shop so I decided to volunteer at my bike coop on Saturday and see if any of the volunteer mechanics could help me out. Luckily, it's now riding like a dream and I rode to yoga, produce stand, grocery store 2x, etc. This morning I rode to the train station instead of driving and it was nice. Wore a dress today since I can do so with my step through frame (can't say the same for my other bikes). Quick 3 miles with a wide shoulder where I dodge debris like a champ...jinxing myself here, I know. My arm and ankle are now mostly healed, thank goodness!
