If it's a new bike, then go back to the bike shop. It's great that you want to DIY and learn, but seriously, you might not quite understand what is going on and muck something up so bad that you void your warranty or any good graces the shop owner might have done for you.

The way you describe it, it sounds like a odd problem that I'd rather be able to see with my own eyes. They shop owner will have a advantage there too since they will see it in person.

Till you get ten posts, you won't be able to put links and photos in your thread. But pic's can go in the Gallery and just tell us they are there. Vid's you'll have to put on a hosting site like imgur or youtube and obfuscate the link when you put it in a post.
