I forgot about that. When both me and my wife started having issues sleeping, we got rid of or covered up every little LED on the electronics, power strips or anything that had a light in the bedroom. And alarm clocks today are crazy bright with their displays. Even those that have a dimmer. They are so bright they cast a shadow across the room if something is in front of them. We put a hat over our alarm clock now.
In the morning when I begin to stir, I'll flip the end of the pillow case over my eyes (
I'm a side sleeper). That helps with the morning light that makes it through the curtains and the bathroom skylight. I've been thinking about getting black out mask for sleeping.
