VINTAGE CINELLI STRADA OR SPECIALE CORSA ROAD BIKE, 70'S, 53CM
https://bicyclecollective.org/produc...elli-road-bike
Look what we have here! A nicely refurbished Cinelli road bike, with 53 cm center-to-center top tube and seat tube, measurements, and more or less period correct Campagnolo components throughout. Pinning down the exact model has taken down some vintage steel bike website rabbit holes. It features the dotted "lightweight" lugs which were introduced in the late 60's. It has no braze ons fittings for shift levers (banded type Campy) or cables, nor does it have water bottle bosses. It has a polished fork crown, but painted lugs rather than polished. Serial number is 5609. A 4-digit serial starting in 5 would indicate it is a 1975 model year, and the aluminum anodized head badge would back that up as well. It also has 6 speed freewheel which of course could have been added later. We think it's pretty special, if you are into nice vintage things.
