I’m glad I was in, and I still have about 20% market exposure. But being about 7 months away from retirement, combined with my lifestyle and what I have accumulated so far, I have no desire to assume any more risk. I’ll never rent a villa on the Amalfi coast, but I’m good with that. Earlier this year I seriously considered buying a cabin up in the Yaak, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Saw yesterday that the place is under contract again.
