Now back to the topic of toe straps. I've been using MKS (Mikashima) woven nylon toe straps for years. There is one other Japanese brand plus Christophe made some but they tend to be on the short side. These MKS straps have the same dimensions as leather straps and don't twist or roll up. They sell for about $15-16 a pair.
AVOID the cheap skinny ones that don't sit flat and twist up when you put your foot in the pedal.
